Encore New York
Welcome to the New York Metro Area Encore Team!
The New York Encore Team was launched on May 20, 2006 with 20 former volunteers from around the New York metro area attending, and many great ideas were discussed! Since that time, the group has continued to expand its reach through recruiting new volunteers, establishing a speakers bureau and working with different institutions and organizations in the NYC area to promote Global Volunteers. The mission of the Global Volunteers New York Area Encore Team is to share the spirit of Global Volunteers as well as the personal rewards inherent in participation in its programs.
Meeting Information
Regular meetings occur at a number of locations in Manhattan.
