Global Volunteers Unveils new site design
St. Paul, Minn. (April 13) Global Volunteers, a nonprofit organization and pioneer in the field of international service-learning programs (“volunteer vacations”) since 1984, is proud to unveil a newly redesigned website. Check it out at www.globalvolunteers.org.
The new design features user-friendly, efficient navigation, along with fresh, new photos direct from the field and updated program information.
In addition, the website’s new “first-tier” content highlights Global Volunteers’ pioneering leadership in the “volunteer vacation” field and its many child-sponsorship opportunities.
“As the ‘volunteer vacation’ trend grows, the public is seeking clear choices. With our new redesign, we are focusing on the vital human and economic development work that is at the core of our international service programs,” said Bud Philbrook, president and co-founder of Global Volunteers.
Visitors will also find pointers on how to evaluate international service programs and choose a work project that best suits their interests and skills. The following links demonstrate the website’s depth of offerings and user-friendly format.
